Love- Writing (and Not Writing)

As anyone who has Mister D for English knows, I love to write. (yes! That paragraph was mine!!) Sometimes the feeling just swells up in me and all of a sudden, I'm clamoring for a pencil and a piece of paper. It's usually poetry.

FUNNY STORY: I was on a bus riding home from a field trip with my very good friend Erica. (go check her out: http://blogspotmorelikerantspot.blogspot .com ) All of a sudden, the hills are fricken yelling at me, saying, "SHEENA!!!! GO WRITE!! NOW!!!" So I turn to Erica and ask for pen and paper. For some reason, she has a pen, but no paper. Nobody on the bus does. So instead, I grab Erica's phone and start typing out the poem that comes to me. It was a love poem (sigh. Guys. Well, that's another post.), but I don't really remember it.

Anyway, the point of this story is: don't let ANYTHING stop you from doing what you love. Even if it seems impossible. Also, English teachers should carry paper with them. Then again, so should people who want to be writers.

So, onto the NOT writing. In a nutshell, if I don't feel it in me to write, I won't. Otherwise, it will be crappy. That's why I haven't been posting a lot lately. (Charles Bucowski sums it up pretty well in the poem, "so you want to be a writer?") Also, I have things like school, friends, church, choir, do I need to go on?

Also to do with not writing, I'm going to be starting Wordless Wednesdays. This means that every Wednesday, I will be posting a picture that has to do with how I'm feeling. They will still be catagorized under peace, love, music, or fashion. Hate the idea? Comment below.

Till the pencil case is solved,
Sheena :)
Luh-ve yah!
